Update: sorry, BTT 0.9 contained a few bugs, I just uploaded 0.91!
- The first version of BTT Remote for iOS (iPhone , iPad, iPod Touch) is now available in the App Store! It requires Mac OS X Lion (10.7) or greater

In order to use BTT Remote you’ll need BTT 0.9, which also includes some other new features: - Added four finger doubletap gesture for the trackpad
- Added a cool new predefined action to trigger arbitrary menubar menu-items(Trigger menubar menu-item). You can e.g. use this to start / stop dictation, switch tabs etc..
- Added a predefined action to show the current menubar in a context menu at the current mouse position (Show menubar in contex-menu)
- Added an option to reduce the mouse cursor speed while holding specific modifier keys. (it’s in the advanced trackpad and magic mouse preferences and can also be triggered with the predefined action “Toggle mouse speed”). I’m using this to slow down my cursor while using e.g. Photoshop.
- Added an option to ignore gestures while typing on the keyboard, this can be activated in the general BTT trackpad preferences.
- Some bugfixes

I purchased BTT Remote immediately after the upgrade screen popped up! Doesn’t even matter if I end up using it, I can’t thank you enough for all the hard work you’ve put into Better Touch Tool.

I think better touch tool would be one of the unmissable apps i have on my macbook. So thank you for that!
Only thing i would like to be added to is something like a numpad. Would be handy since the macbook does not have a numpad.

Man, you are so awesome. I immediately downloaded your app when you sent the notice. Now among other things I can sleep or shut down my Mac without getting out of bed. Your work is phenomenal.

Bought BTT Remore just to show support for BTT development. Don’t know if there’s any real use for BTT Remote for me.
Getting numpad to Apple Touchpad wouldn’t be too bad!

So simple, yet almost a revolution in the way I use my mac. I’ve been using BTT since the beginning on my mac, and I don’t know what I would do, if it was suddenly blocked.
Is there any way this could interact with an Apple TV in the future? Maybe through jailbreak?

Many of us (esp. those with music studios on their systems) are on SNOW LEOPARD! Please make this work if possible (I even paid for the app hoping it’ll help)! We need you! ps- great stuff- can’t live without it. -UD

Bought the app, however I got these 2 lines repeat every other minutes in Console.app (BTT0.91):

Does not work on my iPad! Says timeout while connecting. Works fine on my iphone 4

Having issues with the latest BTT on my 15″ Retina MBP.
It seems that the app stops recognising my gestures when waking from sleep.
Never had this issue on any previous builds.

Hey the version released recently is continuously crashing on my mac. i’ve sent you a report of the bug and i’ve moved to an older version namely .641.
would be glad if you could assist…

Same as #15 Holy here, just updated to 0.912 three hours ago and it crashed a couple of times.
I haven’t been using the mac a lot this morning, but I realized both times it crashed after I closed the laptop screen (hence putting it to sleep), when I reopened the lid BetterTouchTool wasn’t running. I just closed the lid a third time and BTT didn’t crash.
It’s not a big deal for me, as version 0.91 worked perfectly for me and I’ll be returning to it, but if I can help you further tracking this bug just tell me.

one small (and useful for everyone) feature request: add predefined actions to toggle floating status of current window.

BTT is beyond awesome and has transformed the way I use my computer and I cannot thank you enough for it. I like it so much I purchased BTT remote (despite not having an iOS device) and BetterSnapTool to help support development.

Single finger tap top right = right click can stop working after awhile, restart brings it back again. Looks like the other two (single finger tap top left = left click, single finger tap top center = middle click) behave similarly. This has been happening for a number of updates now.
I do have other things that could (but in other ways don’t seem to) interfere running, like CapSee, Keyclick, HyperDock. CapSee I could live without, since it seems to fall behind too much to be useful, but the others, I’d hate to give up.

I too bought the btt touch app the second it came out, I have yet to really start using it, but I felt compelled to pay you something for the hours, if not days, your app has saved me over the last 8 months or so. It is a complete shift in the way I interface with my laptop, so much so that I can no longer use a mac without my own BTT settings.
Please please please do not stop working on this product. Every update it seems adds new features that I didn’t even know I wanted but now can scarcely believe I ever used a computer without. I cannot thank you enough, and if you ever start to charge for this I’ll be the first to buy.

Another here to support this being ported to android. This would be awesome to use on a nexus 7 or similarly sized tablet.

Hi Andreas! I’m another enthusiastic and thankful BTT, BTT remote and BST user! All of them are amazingly useful!
I have a suggestion for a future update to BTT: 3-finger-tap to move windows and files without the release delay! (Same as the built-in mountain lion feature, but without the delay to release, which is very annoying to many ppl).

I would also buy an Android port of BTT remote. Android is so popular even with Mac owners (like myself). Please develop a port for android.
