Good news: BTT seems to be mostly compatible with Mountain Lion (BetterSnapTool also seems to work fine). I’m currently fixing some of the remaining issues. If you encounter any other new issues in ML please let me know.
Here my current development version, which seems to work fine on Mountain Lion. (And also contains a retina menubar icon

July 12th, 2012 at 8:04 amHi Andreas,
my Mac Book Retina will be sent here in 2-3 weeks. How did you find yourself on it by now? How non-HD apps look like? Is that so freaking awesome?

July 12th, 2012 at 8:45 pmIs it possible to set a gesture on my Magic Mouse to open and close the Notification Center?
-
7. Andreas Hegenberg Says:
July 12th, 2012 at 8:46 pmStefan, yes, but first you’ll have to assign a keyboard shortcut to the notification center. To do this, go to system preferences => keyboard => keyboard shortcuts (http://d.pr/i/KJvk/2cI3YGt0 ). After you have set this shortcut you can assign it to a gesture in BTT.

July 27th, 2012 at 6:28 pmHi,
I have also tweeted this, but I am having trouble with using the pinch in (to quit an application. Updated to the latest alpha in the hope of fixing this but it currently isn’t working (.781)
Screen shots of my config if it helps…

Perhaps importantly is that it doesn’t give a little example of the gesture in the demo box like all the others for pinch in.
Thanks for all your work on this tool in general. It works amazingly

July 27th, 2012 at 10:51 pmHi Andreas,
I experienced a problem when creating the following “Better Touch”.
When choosing: Four Finger Swipe Down + Enter Fullscreen (if supported), I got a pop-up asking to activate an API for me. Instead of being able to klick “Activate it for me”, my whole Finder kind of froze. Gestures still worked, but I couldn’t klick on anything. Tried it several times after rebooting, same problem.Found a temporary solution, using: cmd + shift + Q to logout and the login again. Seems to work fine now.
Thanks for the amazing work!

July 28th, 2012 at 1:13 pmHi Andreas,
I have an idea for a Predefined Action in BTT.
In the new Safari you have a button to “Show all tabs” in the right top corner, when opening more then one tab. I used a Three Finger Swipe Down + Custom Keyboard Shortcut (cmd + shift + \) to set it as a “Better Touch”. This works really well.
Might be nice to add it to the Predefined Actions list.Have a great day!

July 31st, 2012 at 5:38 amGreat App been using it for some time, On Mountain Lion only thing I have notices is after a reboot the outline that shows where the “window” will go seems to stop showing, Starting up the app fixes the problem can’t find anything else wrong. Using 1.3.5 downloaded from Apple App Store. Not sure if anyone else is seen the problem.
Running on Mid 2011 Macbook Air.

August 1st, 2012 at 11:50 amHi, I’m using BTT on mountain lion but I have noticed that when I assign a four finger up swipe to “show desktop” and a four finger down swipe to “mission control,” occasionally the commands get swapped around and a four finger down swipe by me will give a “show desktop” response! it’s not every time, however if I use the gestures alternately it seems that the computer gets a bit confused…
thanks for this App otherwise, it’s really great! =)

August 21st, 2012 at 5:36 pmHi Andreas,
I just noticed while running BTT 0.785 with Mountain Lion, that a Quicklook window containing an image (jpg, png, etc) will only move from the title bar or the extreme left, right or bottom edge of a window. No movement when the cursor is anywhere within the window itself. Other formats like .txt, pdf, mp3 opened in quicklook work fine. Sorry if you’re already aware of this.
Great App! Thanks for your great work.

October 13th, 2012 at 1:35 amSince upgrading from Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion, BTT right click has become inconsistent. Sometimes it works… sometimes not. I know Apple provides a right click function, but Apple’s right click area is about 45% of the right side of Magic Mouse. Since Magic Mouse is in no way ergonomic, quite frequently the mouse gets sideways (that is to say, in normal usage for right handed users, the mouse tends to skew about 45° to the left) making left clicks sometimes right clicks. Very frustrating! I began using BTT early-on because of this and set the right click area to 25% of the right side…which solved the problem. Now with Mountain Lion, BTT’s right click has become inconsistent, which is nearly as frustrating. And yes, Apple’s right click function is switched off. Any suggestions?
Also, I miss the BTT prefpane earlier versions had! -
