Apple moved the deadline for sandboxing to June 1. In addition to that they made clear that the sandboxing requirement only applies to new apps, submitted starting on June 1.  We’ll even be able to submit updates after the deadline for existing apps.

This is great news for BetterSnapTool and maybe for the new SecondBar version I’m working on :-)

Great to heard that! Does it mean the such apps published before Jun 1, e.g. BST can survive even for later updates? Besides is there any solution for BetterSnapTool to change to a sandbox version?

Any word on an updated SecondBar? I had to stop using it because on my new iMac with Lion 10.7.4 it would only work for a few minutes. Not sure if it was switching Desktops/Spaces that blew it up or what, but within minutes of boot it would disappear, but still “reserve” its space, causing all my apps on the second monitor to not be able to go to the top of the available screen.

I really want SecondBar’s functionality so… hoping you have an update soon!

And of course, just after posting my above comment, I found this one from Tim on the SecondBar page:

    Tim Said:

    Hi,
it seems nobody has yet mentioned how to solve the problem of Secondbar being displayed, if one has setup multiple spaces in Lion.
Just go to the setting and display Secondbar in the Dock. Right-click on the symbol in the Dock and choose to have it displayed on “All Desktops” under Options.

    And done.

    Great app, btw.
