BetterSnapTool Drag Areas

BetterTouchTool Add comments

I took some time to work on BetterSnapTool this weekend, and I made quite a bit progress. The drag-area feature I introduced here: http://blog.boastr.net/?p=2722 is pretty much done and I think it’s pretty cool :-)

I’ll release an alpha of this by the end of the week, and hope to get a final version to the app store in the next 3 to 4 weeks.

 

//edit: arg some issues with multi monitor systems will delay the alpha release a  bit…
//edit: 13/2/2012 my final exams are finally over (next semester only master thesis, yay!)  and I have made some huge progress on the dragging areas. I hope I’ll finally be able to release the alpha on Wednesday.

    Andreas,

    I wonder if you might be able to help. My magic mouse has started acting weird, and its nothing to do with your Better Touch Tool which is brilliant. When single swiping to go back and forth in Safari or Firefox, it seems to jump 2 pages rather than one. I have tried sensitivity, but that didn’t help. Do you know how to solve this or reset it to factory settings?

    @Aaron i know I’m way behind my schedule but some tricky multimonitor issues need to be fixed before a release ;-( Next week i’ll hopefully have the last exams in my life :-) after this there should be plenty of time…

    Haha. No worries. I’m two months away from graduation, myself. I’d recommend you take some time to celebrate, too :P

    And I’m a multi-monitor user, so by all means take your time and fix it up!

    Before you release the next version, would it be possible to look into why Better Snap Tool (and I believe Better Touch Tool if comments are to be believed) don’t start automatically in Lion? The application is running and is in the statusbar but it doesn’t work unless I quit and relaunch the application after a restart.
