BetterTouchTool Add comments

… as I posted before: I currently have a lot of work to do because exams start in 2 weeks. (And like maybe every student I realized that I started learning much too late, so now day & night learning is necessary )
Thus please excuse my absence on the blog and in the forum (and maybe not answered e-mails)!

I’m currently only working 15min or so per day on BTT but as soon as the exams are done I’ll add lots of features and try to fix everything you reported.

I even wrote a program which keeps me away from doing anything but reading my lectures pdfs : (if you want this, mail me, I’m not gonna make this public )

Not to knock off the awesome apps our friend Andreas puts out but here’s some links to apps that help keep focus on studying and working.

Self Control (similiar to Andreas’s app) free

But there is absolutely nothing to compare to BTT. It is the best.

Thanks for a great tool!

When I Ctrl+click, BetterTouchTool shows a modal dialog regarding the Accessibility API for some reason. This is really annoying – how can I get rid of this?

Hey Andreas thanks for your app and eveyrthing. I’ve been very supportive of your app. But recently an update or something has rendered my magic mouse sort of useless. The moving speed in WINDOWS XP is Normal but when it enters the AUTOCAD window. The sensitivity of the Mouse is greatly reduce at least 150%.

Nvm I just realise that only happens when my Parallels is running in Full Screen. :l Gotta mail parallels then.

Don’t worry, I can understand and BTW I think BTT its already perfect and quite stable, at least for me, so relax and take your time to study!

Hey, thanks for the excellent software! Will you be able to add a function to turn off acceleration? I can’t stand the magic mouse’s acceleration curve!

I am having the same issue as ttjoseph with the ANNOYING dialog box coming up everytime i control click!! A fix for this would be great.

@elysia, for now go to PredefinedActions and deactivate the checkboxes for the window moving at the bottom (or just activate the api)

Does anyone know if theres a way for to make the gestures work by ‘mouse over’ (like scrolling does), instead of having to click the app window first?

2 things:
1: for the magic mouse can you do Right and Left Clicks in the center of the mouse? Like with my thumb and ring finger? It would emulate a button on the sides of the mouse. I want to do global cut and paste, and TipTap’s okay… but I’m looking for something a little more purposeful.

2: set up a paypal account, You need to get paid!

Hi! I am getting false positives when assigning dashboard to two finger click. I do have the “raise both fingers” option checked, but it still is counting as a two finger click.
