  • there are some applications that don’t support gestures. For those the new Zoom In and Zoom Out doesn’t work. Thus you may want to use keyboard shortcuts for those apps. Problem was that the new Predefinedactions need a pretty low sensitivity to work smooth but Keyboardshortcuts a pretty high sensitivity.
    So this version adds a second sensitivity slider to the magic mouse zooming stuff. You can now set the sensitivity for keyboardshortcuts and the predefinedactions separately
  • the predefined swipe actions shouldn’t be fetched anymore by BTT. (see last blogpost

//edit: 0.5145 fixes a little problem

Download 0.5145 alpha & use at your own risk

Because the last version was postet on many bigger sites (altough it’s not on regular update) here a short summary of the last few alphas:

  • Great new Window Moving and Resizing (How to use)
  • Five Finger Click
  • Predefined Actions Zoom In and Out (behave now like the touchpad does when zooming)
  • Trackpad swipes as predefined actions
  • Middleclick doesn’t have to be set with all the modifierkeys you want to use it anymore (just set middleclick and it will work with all modifierkeys)
  • should fix problems with stopping gestures
  • should fix problems with resetting mouse speed
  • many bugfixes

    hi, Andreas. First, so many thanks to you for your great work. I’ve got a problem. I’ve binded “Single Finger Tap Left” to “Leftclick”, and “Three Finger Swipe Up” to “Show Desktop” in Magic Mouse settings tab. When I do “Three Finger Swipe Up”, then Desktop is shown, so I do “Single Finger Tap Left” on a file on Desktop, but after I did the “Single Finger Tap Left” action, all windows would restore to their original location. While I do “Single Finger Click”(or “Single Finger Tap” on Touchpad) on a file when Desktop is shown, this problem does not occur.
    Sorry for my poor English.

    Hi,
    hm, to be honest, after you introduced the new Moving and Resizing feature, two features continuously do not work anymore. I always have to go back to v.501.
    These include (MBP 5,5) both
    - (most agonizing) the “manual” Gesture Move Window Left/Right (I use TipTap L/R) tends to maximize the windows,
    - predefinedActions: the Left/Right Edge: resize to left/right part tends to maximize the windows, and not resize them to half my screen width.
    I believe the bugs must be related.

    Thanks for the great app!

    @Niklas, in the Tab Predefined Actions, is there 50% selected for maximize window left/right width?

    @Andreas
    Yes, that fixed everything *facepalm*
    Thanks, now working perfectly ;-)

    @Andreas
    Amazing work, indeed.
    After updating to this alpha and changing my pinch gestures from keyboard shortcut zoom to the native zooms, my ‘zoom out’ doesn’t seem to be working in Safari. It works in, say, Preview, not as well as the Zoom In though. Zoom Out doesn’t work at all in Safari; I have to use keyboard Zoom Out there to achieve that. Thanks, L.

    The moving/resizing doesn’t work for me. tried the instructions as provided on your blog, but i can’t seem to move, resize or anything. added the gestures, the gestures are recognized using live view, but moving/resizing, no way. Using a magic mouse/snow leopard.

    For some odd reason the ‘enable doubletap to drag’ doesn’t work anymore either.

    @Rene do you have the accessibility api enabled? If yes there must be s.th. conflicting with BTT (some other software) if you want you can send me the output of “ps -ef” on the terminal to bettertouchtool@boastr.net then I can tell you what may conflict.
