Hey,
unfortunately I didn’t have any time the last two days. Expect many bugfixes tomorrow (at least I hope so)

What I would really like is edge scrolling on the trackpad, sure two finger scrolling is good but if we had edge scrolling it would free up all those two finger gestures. I find once you get past three fingers the gestures take increasingly more mental power and are less second nature so I would really like a two finger way to bring up expose and still keep scrolling. Also tip tap works horribly on the multitouch trackpad and two finger tip tap seems to not work at all

hallo andreas..thank you for your great work. I have some request:
1)can you avoid accidentally assign two actions to the same gesture?For example as darkening the gesture that is already in use..
2)can you add the ability to drag ‘n drop / copy / paste a gesture from one application to another and to and from MM TP
3)can you add a circular swipe..maybe clockwise and counterclockwise..

I have both single finger tap and click on Magic Mouse set to CMD + Click (I use CMD + Click rather than middleclick because middleclick won’t work on links in frames in Safari). After I activate either of those, a trackpad tap will be a regular click which is correct and a trackpad click will be CMD + Click until a left, right, or middle click is done on the Magic Mouse. If I don’t have single finger click set, everything will work correctly.

The option to have a gesture produce a click/tap and keyboard action at the same time.
Etc: 4finger tap= ctrl+shift+click

diagonal swipes please… with two three and four finger… and i think it is very useful to add the top and the bottom swipes right and left…

But there’s a BUT
I don’t know, if it’s possible: I would like to be able to activate spaces and expose at the same time. Now I’m only able to active spaces or expose and when I want to enable spaces, expose disables first. With my Logitech-Mouse it was possible to assign Expose and spaces to additional Mouse-Buttons and there you could activate both simultaniously.
Second thing: Please register TipTabs with fingers not so close

bumpl for do this you must assign for the gesture the F8 instead the SPACES in predefined action… and you can able the spaces and expose simultaniously… for the additional key in the mouse you must go in system preference in section exposè spaces and you can add the button 5 or 4 for example to able spaces or exposè

I liked the Magic mouse, whole hand gesture, but apart from that, it would be good if there were lots of different alternatives for trackpad gestures, such as 6 finger click to close an application because it is more awkward to use (two fingers) something like that.
Keep up the great work on the great little program.

I’m not sure if this is out of the scope of this program, but the ability to drag a window by dragging three fingers on the trackpad would be amazing – similar to the app called zooom, but without having to hold down any extra keys or without clicks for that matter. Possible?

Hi Andreas,
since you’re asking for feature request: the support for multiple users (that are logged in at the same time using fast user switching) is still on top of my wish list.
Right now it seem BTT is not filtering gestures from JUST the user who is currently active but also from other users. As an example, if BTT is running for user A, and configured to show e.g. dashboard on a 3-finger tap, but NOT even running for user B, then still if user B taps with 3 fingers user A would be shown the dashboard (after switching back to user A).
Even worse things happen when BOTH users have BTT up and running…
Any plans to fix this?
