//edit: I just implemented two new features that got possible due to the apple trackpad update. You may have noticed that the tipswipes move the cursor since the update. This is annoying on the one hand but it can be useful on the other hand. The next version of BTT will let you move windows without grabbing them at the top by using the tip swipes.
A other thing that is possible now: gestures can now require the trackpad / magic mouse to be clicked. So e.g. tiptaps that only trigger with clicked trackpad would be possible or a three finger swipe could do different things depending on the state of the trackpad (clicked or not)
Both of those features need to be polished a bit but maybe I’ll be able to release an alpha tomorrow evening.

This version should allow you to use the magic trackpad and the magic mouse at the same time. This is an important step because now I can optimze the gestures for the magic trackpad and for the normal trackpad seperately. (I may introduce a seperate tab for the magic trackpad soon)
There are still some known issues
- apple three finger dragging is disabled while BTT is running
- two finger tiptaps don’t register always on some systems ( currently investigating here)
- “single finger top taps” don’t work perfectly on the magic trackpad yet
- application switcher doesn’t work very good atm
- tipswipe makes the mouse cursor move

- I really need to push out a regular update soon because many users didn’t realize yet that the new trackpad update caused so many bugs.

This version should allow three and four finger clicks even with the new trackpad update installed. Also the 3 finger tap shouldn’t conflict with the 3 finger click anymore.
There are still some limitations:
- the apple 3 finger drag gesture won’t work currently if BTT is running
- there may be issues if you set middleclick as predefined action for the 3/4 finger click. I’ll fix this next.
- currently only magic mouse OR magic trackpad will work, soon you can use both at the same time.

This is very alpha, I had to change the way how clicks are recognized completely but it would be great if you could test if it works for you. The new way how clicks are recognized allows new gestures in future versions e.g. 3 finger swipe while the trackpad is clicked or s.th…

Three and four finger click will be back soon. Found a solution for them to work with the new drivers (even better than before)

The latest alpha of BetterTouchTool (download) works quite fine with my new MagicTrackpad.
The MagicTrackpad is able to recognize up to 11 Fingers, just like the normal Trackpad
You just have to check the “MagicTrackpad Option”

This is only for people who already installed the trackpad update
- Three Finger Click and Four Finger Click are not supported in this version. (you should remove them from your gesture list for now)
- Should fix three finger taps, four finger taps, three finger tiptaps, two finger tiptaps and normal tiptaps, also may prevent the scrolling while doing a four finger swipe
This is definitely ALPHA and only people who updated to the new trackpad software and now can’t use many of their gestures should try it.

The new apple trackpad update breaks quite some things 
I’ll try to fix them as soon as possible.
Don’t update if you need the three or four finger click gesture. I may not be able to keep those.
For now the only solution is to disable tap to click if you want the two finger tiptaps etc.
Currently broken:
- three finger tiptaps
- two finger tiptaps
- three finger tap or click
I’ll be able to fix most of them but I think we may lose the three finger click and the four finger click. I’ll post a version which brings back working two finger tiptaps and three finger tiptaps tomorrow at roughly this time.

Apple just released an update which enables momentum scrolling for older macbooks (and is needed for the magic trackpad)

I thought it will allow you to drag windows around without grabbing them at their title but it doesn’t. So whats the advantage of using it instead of doubletap to drag? I don’t get it.
I’ll try to create a trackpad gesture which allows dragging windows around without fetching them at the top (like it’s already possible with the magic mouse, use two finger touch top and start/stop moving to achieve that)
